Hey friends!,
My name is Marge Swearingen – hence the blog name – I thought I could get away with a little more play-on-words by shortening to ‘swearin’. *wink wink* I’m an Oklahoma girl, who was transplanted to Denver, Colorado in 2015 when my husband accepted a promotion for work – all I’m saying is, not the worst location we could have been promoted to!
My hope is that this blog will be an outlet for me to express all of my favorite “F-words” – food, family, fitness, future, fashion, and fauna. With a few extras thrown in that don’t always start with the letter F. (That was tricky!) My mother raised me to be super frugal, in every sense, so I hope I’m able to share some of that with you–my loyal followers! And simply share my personal account of this crazy life journey we’re all on together.
I’m a registered dietitian by day, and an eclectic thirty-something by night. I love every aspect of food, and always have – talking about it, cooking it, teaching others about it, and especially eating it! I’m working on being outdoorsy, and I get by with a little help from my friends. I love traveling and exploring new places – perhaps I should have included “foreign” in my favorite F-words? – I’m looking forward to exploring all things ‘lifestyle’ that this blog will become.
